About the Department

Mathematics brings together all branches of science and technology. With this as vision, the department started in 1963 to pursue excellence in teaching UG classes by developing appropriate curricula and teaching practice. Mathematics reproduces the spirit of rationality and takes the leading role in shaping the career of a basic student to meet global challenges. One of our focuses is to produce students equipped with modern Mathematics tools with a strong understanding of real world. One of the central visions of our department is to create a healthy environment that motivates the students for higher studies and quality research. The faculty members are actively engaged in research along with the teaching responsibilities and other duties assigned by the college time to time.

The department also started giving PG course from Academic Session 2023. Efforts are also made to the spirit and curiosity, thoughtful minds, deep attraction to Mathematics and natural love for humanity / society among the students.
